Tier List

**UPDATED DECEMBER 2020**

This list is broken into two categories. First is a general tier listing (S, A, B, C, D, F) and characters denoted with a “* and **” are characters you should focus on early. Below I will explain what each tier means. This is a living document that will be continuously updated over time. As always, you and/or other great players likely have differing opinions based on your experiences in game. This list was created by the alliance “The Court of Owls” that typically take the top spots of pvp on a regular basis. With that said, this is a guide for you when considering if you wish to invest resources.

S-Tier: This is the best tier. Characters in this tier meet one or more of the following criteria, they bring something essential to a match, are almost always plug and play, and in a lot of cases can take over a match. They are characters you don’t have to build around, they make almost any team better. It goes without saying that characters in this tier are typically ones you want to spend resources on early. These can be sometimes referred to as “crutch” characters.

A-Tier: These are great characters, have little flaws, but usually won’t win the match by themselves or need another character to get the most of out them. They are still top shelf toons that are deserving of precious resources.

B-Tier: These toons are solid, but usually need a team to compliment them to show any kind of greatness. Quite often “A” tier toons will be a better option, but if you particularly like the character, or trying to build around a certain type of theme (stun, evasion, etc) they can be great. They aren’t always a plug and play option.

C-Tier: These are characters that can work in very specific comps, but probably could use a rework. More often than not they will have a better option in one of the above tiers.

D-Tier: These are characters that serve little purpose in game, always have a better options in the above tiers, and need a rework. Only upgrade these if you are flush with gems are just love that character.

F-Tier: These characters serve little to no purpose in the game and make your team categorically worse. These desperately need a rework. Gear at your own risk.

*: if you see a * next to a character, this denotes that this is a character you should upgrade early regardless of tier. These are characters that have stood the test of time and will be integral to beating various comps.

**: Same as the *, except it means this character is easily farmable and should be a top priority upgrade to advance through the game.
