After beating a couple of Nazis for causing trouble, Pat Dugan knew his calling was to protect the weak and fight for justice. After years of fighting crime, Pat finally settled down and married. His step-daughter Courtney Whitmore, however, would end up bringing him back to the superhero life, but this time he built himself a Special Tactics Robotic Integrated Power Enhancer suit, also known as S.T.R.I.P.E.
