DeSaad gets into the minds of his foes manipulating their emotions to hurt their wills, making them renounce their strengths and influencing his allies to do his bidding.
Born in New Genesis, the unnamed youth was a victim of a cruel mischief by Darkseid, awakening his inner anger and cruelty and inducing him to follow the tyrant. As Darkseid's follower, the New God DeSaad was many times tortured, killed and revived by him due to DeSaad's many failures and betrayals. Over the years, DeSaad was tasked to infiltrate, spy and betray several powerful enemies in order to deliver powerful tools to Darkseid to aid him in his conquest.
