Nightmare Challenge: April

In this month’s 3-day event, players from Level 50 and above can prove that their team is the strongest in the universe by defeating multiple waves of Heroes and Villains to get amazing rewards!

The nightmare challenge will have some changes for this month; the first one being that the event will have 12 nodes instead of 10. The second one is that we increased the difficulty of Nightmare mode, so prepare your heroes for the task!

The information for this month’s challenge is the following:

Start Date: April 15th at 5:00 PDT.

End Date: April 18th at 5:00 PDT.

April Game Update

Hawk: The Avatar of War and Dove: The Avatar of Peace join DC Legends! Along with them are April reworks: Blue Beetle: Jaime Reyes and Deathstroke: The Terminator.

HAWK: THE AVATAR OF WAR

Hank Hall has always been the type to punch first and ask questions later. His impulsive personality was only countered by his brother Don's, The first Dove. But since his brother's death, he continued his work as a vigilante by himself until Dawn Granger joined him to continue Don's legacy.

Hawk is a slow but heavy hitter. His fighting style focuses on making enemies more vulnerable to his waves of damage. When Dove fights alongside him, he becomes his protector and his power is enhanced.

DOVE: THE AVATAR OF PEACE.

Dawn Granger is the second Dove, the successor of Don Hall. She is an avatar of Peace and half of Hawk and Dove. the crimefighter duo. Dawn’s level head, along with her willingness to see reason and compromise, make her the perfect counterpoint to Hank’s hair-trigger rage and stubbornness. But her measured manner should never be mistaken for weakness.

Dove uses her skills to dodge the attacks of her enemies and counterattack with great strength and agility.

BLUE BEETLE: JAIME REYES

Jaime was a typical teenager until he came upon the mysterious Blue Beetle scarab. Originally possessed by Dan Garrett and then Ted Kord, the parasitic scarab attached itself to Jaime’s spine. Bonding permanently with the entity, Jaime was able to tap into new powers that his predecessors never dreamed of. Though its origins are obscure, Jaime has formed an unusual ‘partnership’ with the alien creature and is now the latest hero to call himself the Blue Beetle.

Configures his armor to adapt to shielded enemies and do more damage against them.

DEATHSTROKE: THE TERMINATOR

While serving in elite covert ops unit Team 7, Slade Wilson volunteered for an experiment to create a super-soldier. The other test subjects died but Wilson’s mind and body were dramatically enhanced. After Team 7 was dissolved, an embittered Wilson used his lethal skills to become a mercenary, establishing himself as the world’s deadliest assassin. Ruthless and unscrupulous, Wilson is a killer who fulfills his contracts no matter what.

CAPTAIN BOOMERANG: AUSSIE MARKSMAN

Raised in a poor Australian town, George "Digger" Harkness spent most of his time training his boomerang skills. After a fight with his stepfather, he was sent to America where he became Captain Boomerang, a toy company's promoter. He used this persona to start a life of crime and throw off his pursuers until he was caught by The Flash himself. After that he was recruited as part of the Suicide Squad were he continued his mischievous behavior.

Captain Boomerang uses his namesake weapon to slow down and deal massive damage to his enemies.

HEAT WAVE: THE PYROMANIAC

Mick Rory was a hot-tempered and emotional farm boy that grew up outside of Central City. From a very young age, he was deeply interested in fire. His fascination turned into obsession when he burned his childhood home with his family still inside while he simply watched the flames devour everything. One day, after seeing The Rogues in action in Central City, he decided to use his pyromania to become the villain called Heat Wave.

Heat Wave uses fire to inflict bleeding wounds, protect his allies and heat up the battle to take actions faster.

CHEMO: THE DEATHLESS DOOM

Working to cure the world's ills, Prof Ramsey Norton would discard his failed chemical experiments in a disposal container in his lab. But Norton's failures resulted in one startling success - the creation of the lifeform known as Chemo. Whatever was in that container that brought the toxic sludge to life, the being that emerged has a rudimentary intelligence and aggressive nature that makes it a noxious menace.

Able to spew highly corrosive and toxic chemical attacks.

MIRROR MASTER: ROGUISH REFLECTION

With the amazing technology of the Mirror Master, Scottish mercenary and thief Evan McCulloch is a thorn in the side of the Flash. An unrepentant criminal, he cares little for life and is mainly concerned with his next score. Nevertheless, the stone-hearted rogue has a soft spot for the orphanage where he was raised. With access to the mirror realm through any reflective surface, Mirror Master always turns up where he's least expected.

Employs mirror-based technology that allow laser attacks and teleportation.

April Game Update

SHAZAM! April is almost here and so are Shazam Jr and Mary Marvel. Shazam and Black Adam are the reworks for this month.

SHAZAM JR: FREDDY FREEMAN

With his parents in prison, Freddy Freeman came into the care of the Vasquez family, where he met his foster brother Billy Batson. After the wizard Shazam granted super-powers to Billy by choosing him as Champion, Freddy helped him come to terms with them and use them for good as the hero Shazam. But when Freddy and his other siblings were in mortal danger, Billy decided to share his powers with them, transforming Freddy into Shazam Jr.!

Through mystical means, Shazam Jr. changes the weaknesses and strengths of everyone in battle, giving him and his team an edge against more powerful enemies.


MARY MARVEL: EARTH’S MIGHTIEST GIRL

Living a normal life with her loving foster family, Mary never suspected she was meant for a much greater life. As she was chosen by the ancient wizard to become one of his champions, Mary chose not only to be a superhero when saying the magic word SHAZAM!, but also be a true hero to and mentor to her foster siblings. Both with or without magic powers, Mary always aims to be the Earth's mightiest girl.

Wielding the power of the ancient Wizard, Mary is very quick damage dealer. She unleashes devastating lightning attacks against the entire enemy team.


SHAZAM: BILLY BATSON

After the death of his parents young Billy Batson was a troubled orphan until meeting an ancient wizard. Seeing the potential in Billy the wizard granted him the powers of six gods when he speaks the magic word that transforms him into an adult and the champion of magic. On the outside Billy is Earth's mightiest mortal but on the inside he is still a boy struggling to be worthy of the living lightning of Shazam!


BLACK ADAM: KHEM-ADAM

Born a prince in the shadow of ancient Egypt Teth-Adam was granted the powers of six gods to defend his people. As Mighty Adam he used his powers for good but became corrupted by power. When the mad priest Ahk-ton killed his family Black Adam murdered him in retribution. As punishment he was imprisoned inside a mystical scarab until freed in modern times. As a king Black Adam is both uncompromising and super-humanly powerful.
