February Game Update

Jesse Quick: The Golden Age Daughter and Naomi McDuffie: Powerhouse are coming this February to join DC Legends! Along with them are February reworks: Arsenal: Roy Harper & Atom: The World’s Smallest Hero.

JESSE QUICK: THE GOLDEN AGE DAUGHTER

Jesse Chambers became Jesse Quick thanks to the use of the Speed Force Formula, taught by her father Johnny Quick, and her super-strength, inherited by her mother Liberty Bell. After studying the past of superheroes in Gotham University and managing her father's company, Quickstart Enterprises, she adopted her own super-heroine identity to fight back supervillain threats, combining the best of her parent's inherited skills.

Jesse combines speed and strength to swiftly maneuver between her enemies and execute deadly punches.

NAOMI MCDUFFIE: POWERHOUSE

Naomi is the only child born to a couple of meta-humans from an alternate universe. She was targeted by a criminal called Zumbado and sent to Earth-0 by her parents to save her life. On this new planet, she was discovered and adopted by the McDuffie family and lived normally until an encounter with Superman awoke doubts about her own origins.

Naomi is a young fighter, raised ignorant of her powers, and as such, she attacks with raw strength and explosive damage-focused energy bursts.

ARSENAL: ROY HARPER

Orphaned at a young age, Roy Harper was raised in an Indian reservation by Brave Bow, who taught him how to shoot with bow and arrow. Oliver Queen would eventually meet Roy and witness his archery skills, inviting him to be his ward. Roy would become his crime-fighting partner Speedy, named as such because he was faster than Green Arrow himself. After several adventures with his mentor and the Titans, he would take up a new name: Arsenal.

Arsenal weakens and blinds his enemies with incredible speed, attacking again when they start to miss.

ATOM: THE WORLD’S SMALLEST HERO

Working on shrinking technology based on a piece of White Dwarf Star matter, Ray Palmer managed to create a device that allowed him to shrink to an incredibly small size. Even if it started just as scientific research, Ray decided to use his new skills to fight crime and start a superhero career. His adventures have taken him from discovering a tiny alien civilization in the Amazon to being part of the Justice League, and even becoming part of the Indigo Tribe Lanterns.

Using his shrinking power, he assists his allies on a microscopic level as well as punching like a bullet.

February Raid Delayed

Due to unfortunate circumstances regarding issues with some devices, the developers have decided to delay the February 2021 Raid Boss event for a week.

CASSANDRA CAIN: THE ONE WHO IS ALL

Cassandra Cain, the daughter of David Cain was conceived and trained from birth with the intention of creating the perfect warrior at the service of Ra's al Ghul. She ran away from her home after committing her first murder, at the age of 8, realizing that what she did was wrong. She spent several years homeless, until one day she arrived in Gotham City where she met Barbara Gordon and Batman. That is when she became the new Batgirl, joining the Bat-Family.

Cassandra is a skilled combatant, she is a specialist in hiding in the shadows, to be invisible to the sight of her enemies, from where she can strike dealing huge amounts of damage.

BLACK MASK: THE CRIME KING

Roman Sionis was born from a wealthy family. Tired of pretending and socializing, he decided to burn down their parents’ house, with them inside it. After failing to control his newly inherited company, he lost his grip on sanity and carved a mask out of his father’s obsidian grave, becoming Black Mask. He swore revenge on everyone that had wronged him in the past, starting with the new owner of his former company, Bruce Wayne.

As a crime leader, Black Mask commands his allies to attack his enemies, to then finish them off once they have been weakened.

HUNTRESS: THE ZEALOUS CRUSADER

The daughter of a powerful Gotham City Mafioso boss, Helena Bertinelli witnessed her family assassinated by rivals. Fleeing the country, she trained for years until returning as a vigilante. Though devoutly religious, the Huntress pursues her vendetta against criminals without pity and is not above extreme measures. But with some guidance, she strives to walk the straight and narrow as both a dedicated school teacher and crime fighter.

Expert with a crossbow and in HTH combat. She hunts down her prey and finishes off weakened targets with a powerful attack.

VIXEN: AVATAR OF THE ANIMAL KINGDOM

Raised in embattled Africa nation of Zambesi, Mari McCabe was orphaned at a young age. She emigrated to America as a child and eventually became a renowned supermodel. But when she inherited the ancient Tantu Totem that the trickster god Anansi bestowed on her family, she discovered she could channel the powers of any animal on Earth. Now, she uses her powers to protect the innocent and juggle a life of super-heroics and fame.

Uses animal powers to adapt to her enemies and effectively shut down their powers.

Black Lightning and Batwoman are ready to join the fight against Nekron in DC Legends this February! Katana and Livewire are this months reworks. We also address the issue of Wonder Girl.

BLACK LIGHTNING: PROTECTOR OF SUICIDE SLUMS

Growing up in Metropolis' Suicide Slums, Jefferson Pierce was a firsthand witness to the violence and gangs that controlled his neighborhood. After becoming an Olympic gold medalist and graduating college, he returned to help the community, but ran into trouble with a criminal organization called The 100. When they killed one of his students, Jefferson put his latent electricity powers to use as Black Lightning intent on bringing them to justice.

Black Lightning uses the power of electricity to overheal allies and rid them of debuffs.His shocks can also damage and purge buffs from enemies, healing his teammates for each buff purged.

BATWOMAN: ARMY OF ONE

A very traumatic event during her childhood, where she lost both her mother and sister, helped shape Kate Kane into the justice seeking woman she is today. Years later, following her father's steps, she joined the U.S. Army, only to be dismissed for admitting to having a relationship with another woman. Disappointed with the system, inspired by an encounter with the Dark Knight, and supported by her father, Batwoman decided to take justice into her own hands.

Using her martial arts skills she minimizes her opponent's Critical Damage output, while buffing herself with Strength Ups and Invisibility, following up with devastating gadget attacks.

KATANA: SAMURAI WARRIOR

Torn between the love of two brothers when Tatsu married Maseo his brother Takeo joined the Yakuza and challenged his brother with the ancient sword Soultaker. Killed by the mystical sword Maseos soul was trapped in the cursed blade. After the tragic loss of her family Tatsu took up Soultaker and now wields it with her considerable martial arts skills in the pursuit of justice. She seeks to free her husbands soul while relentlessly punishing criminals.

LIVEWIRE: SHOCK JOCK

As a radioshock jock, Leslie Willis enjoyed nothing better than making Superman the target of her on-air rants. Her disdain for the Man of Steel turned into full-blown hatred after a bizarre accident nearly killed her, causing her to become a being of electrical energy. Blaming Superman for the mishap, she continues to torment the Man of Steel not only with her sharp tongue but also her impressive electrical super-powers.

WONDER GIRL: CHAMPION OF WAR

Over the last few months, we’ve been paying attention to the posts and discussions about the power of Wonder Girl: Champion of War. With the voice of the Community in mind and to ensure DCL remains a fair and fun game for everyone, we’ve decided to make a couple of changes to her abilities:

    - Increase the number of buffs on an enemy from 6+ to 8+ for her passive “Divine Balance” to trigger

    - Reduce the damage on her “Lasso of Lightning” ability by 15%

These changes will go into effect with the release of the February content.
