July Game Update

Brace yourself for a patriotic month as Stargirl and S.T.R.I.P.E. arrive in DC Legends! Joining them are this month’s reworks: the red, white and blue heroes, Superboy: Jon Kent and Sinestro: White Lantern.

STARGIRL: WIELDER OF THE COSMIC STAFF

One day, looking through her stepfather's belongings, young girl Courtney Whitmore discovers a mysterious cosmic converter belt and the truth about him and his former life as a superhero. Courtney decides to craft her own superhero suit and put on the belt that gives her new special abilities to fight along with her stepfather and his S.T.R.I.P.E. armor. Making preparations for his retirement, Jack Night gives Courtney the Cosmic Staff, a powerful weapon full of absorbed stellar energy that gives her numerous abilities. From that moment, Courtney assumes the identity of Stargirl.

Stargirl uses the power of the stars to give strong blows capable of diminishing the strength of their enemies or protecting their allies with Shields and granting Crit Immunity, making her a good addition against teams based on the use of excessive strength.

S.T.R.I.P.E.: PAT DUGAN

After beating a couple of Nazis for causing trouble, Pat Dugan knew his calling was to protect the weak and fight for justice. After years of fighting crime, Pat finally settled down and married. His stepdaughter Courtney Whitmore, however, would end up bringing him back to the superhero life, but this time he built himself a Special Tactics Robotic Integrated Power Enhancer suit, also known as S.T.R.I.P.E.

S.T.R.I.P.E is a mechanical wonder, mixing self-repair and killer damage. He uses his arsenal of deadly weapons to deal Damage to his enemies and trigger special subroutines that allow him to do additional attacks. He can also be hypercharged with Overheals, allowing him to deal massive amounts of damage.

SUPERBOY: JON KENT

The young son of Superman and Lois Lane, Jon Kent’s Kryptonian powers promise to surpass even his father’s – if he can just learn to use them properly. To safely master his abilities and become a hero, Superman arranges for Jon to train with Damian Wayne, the newest Robin and son of Batman. As a hero-in-training, Jon shows the sharp mind of his mother, the great heart of his father, and an unshakable commitment to truth and justice.

No enemy can hide from the son of Superman. His Super Slam can Purge Buffs while his Frost Breath is guaranteed to Stun!

SINESTRO: WHITE LANTERN

With an overriding ambition to bring order to the universe, Thaal Sinestro was a respected Green Lantern who abused his power to make himself absolute overlord of his homeworld of Korugar. Banished for his crimes to the anti-matter universe of Qward, while in exile he managed to forge a Power Ring powered by the yellow light of Fear. Now Sinestro leads his own Lantern Corps dedicated to terrifying the universe into unconditional submission.

Sinestro's White Power Ring grants him control over life itself, which he uses to heal, shield and revive his allies.
